Reanimated Memories

Brace yourselves for a fix of power metal at its absolute best! A historical release of the German metal commando Primal Fear! An official live bootleg documenting the concerts in the USA, Canada, South America, Asia, and Europe, proving the band’s outstanding prowess as a live act. Founded by Ralf Sheepers (Gamma Ray), Mat Sinner (Sinner), and Klaus Sperling (Prolopower), Primal Fear released their debut self-titled album in 1998 to great success. After a successful tour with Running Wild, they were joined by Stefan Leibig (Comedy Club) and Tom Naumann (Sinner). Their second album Jaws of Death saw the light of day in 1999. A tour of the USA, Brazil, Argentina, and Japan ensued. In 2000, Tom Naumann was replaced by Henny Wolter (Thunderland). The following years brought the release of Nuclear Fire (2001), and Black Sun (2002), which entered the German charts at number 55 and the Japanese rock charts at number 12 and was followed by a successful promotional tour. In 2003, Randy Black (Annihilator) took over the drumming duties after Klaus Sperling parted ways with the band. Shortly afterwards, Primal Fear released their first DVD The History of Fear and later, in 2004, their fifth studio album Devil’s Ground. Primal Fear co-headlined BWBK Six-Pack Weekend in Cleveland, USA, played a number of concerts in South America and appeared at several European festivals before releasing Seven Seals (2005), recorded with Charlie Bauerfiend (Blind Guardian, Hammerfall), and mixed at Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, B.C., by Mike Fraser (Metallica, AC/DC, Aerosmith). The year 2006 marked the end of Primal Fear’s long-running cooperation with Nuclear Blast Records and their signing of a record deal with Frontiers Records, for whom they recorded their four subsequent studio albums: New Religion (2007), 16.6 (Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead) (2009), Unbreakable (2012), and Delivering the Black (2014).
